- Options when you need them The wireless follow module, GNSS and 4G can be added to the A2 Standard as options.
Description
The Unitree A2 Standard is the A2 industrial quadruped in its single-LiDAR edition: Unitree's medium-size legged robot, about 42 kg, with one Hesai JT128 LiDAR in the head, an HD camera and a front light. It carries about 25 kg while walking and about 100 kg standing, and its two hot-swappable batteries keep it walking for over 5 hours and about 20 km unloaded.
Twelve joint motors with dual encoders and about 180 N·m of torque on industrial-grade crossed roller bearings take it up 30 cm steps, 45° slopes and 0.5–1 m obstacles, at 0–3.7 m/s in everyday operation. The body is aluminium alloy, with 6061-T6 in every connecting structure and 7075-T6 in key parts, rated IP56 and specified for −20 °C to 55 °C.
An 8-core platform CPU runs Unitree's motion control; an Intel Core i7 is free for your own software, with RS485, CAN, gigabit Ethernet, USB-C and 12 V / 24 V / battery outputs for payloads, and secondary development is supported. Unitree names logistics, industrial inspection and emergency rescue among the A2's scenarios.
The A2 Standard and the Unitree A2 Pro share the body, drive, batteries and computers. The A2 Pro adds a second LiDAR in the tail, an NVIDIA Jetson Orin NX computing dock, GNSS, 4G and the wireless follow module, and rates its core components IP67. On the A2 Standard the follow module, GNSS and 4G are available as options.
