- Three end-effector types The arm ends take a two-finger gripper, a three-finger dexterous hand or a five-finger dexterous hand.
- Quick actuator changes The end interface is designed to be fitted quickly with different actuators.
- 2–4 kg per arm Payload depends on how far the arm is extended, with up to 60 N·m at the shoulder.
- ±0.1 mm end-clamp accuracy Dual encoders on the arm joints support precise, repeatable positioning.
- Seven joints per arm The spare joint lets the elbow move clear of obstacles while the hand holds its pose.
- Smart C hands on the quotation The end effector supplied with Smart C, and any wrist camera or compute module, is listed item by item.
Description
The Unitree R1-A7 Smart C is the R1-A7 dual-arm humanoid in its Smart C package, and the question that matters most with any R1-A7 package is what sits at the end of the arms. Unitree gives the arm ends an interface that can be fitted quickly with different actuators, and offers three kinds: a two-finger gripper, a three-finger dexterous hand and a five-finger dexterous hand, with between 1 and 7 degrees of freedom per end.
Each 7-DOF arm carries 2–4 kg depending on how far it is extended, with ±0.1 mm end-clamp accuracy and up to 60 N·m at the shoulder. The joints use low-inertia inner-rotor motors, crossed-roller output bearings and dual encoders, with the wiring run inside hollow joints. A gripper suits pick-and-place and the handling of rigid parts; a dexterous hand suits tool use, in-hand manipulation and grasping research.
Which of those Smart C carries, and whether a wrist camera or a high-computing module comes with it, is itemised on the quotation. The eight R1-A7 Smart packages, A to H, share the robot described here and are sold as separate packages with different contents, so compare their quotations line by line rather than by letter.
The rest is the standard R1-A7: a fixed base with no chassis, a waist that turns ±150°, a 2-DOF head with a binocular camera and 10 TOPS of AI compute, 555 mm of forearm and upper arm, about 13 kg and 835 × 357 × 190 mm.

Frequently Asked Questions
The Unitree R1-A7 Smart C Dual-Arm Humanoid Robot is priced at €16.500 in your market.
That is itemised on the quotation. Unitree's options are a two-finger gripper, a three-finger dexterous hand and a five-finger dexterous hand. The photo shows two-finger grippers, but the same picture is used for every R1 Smart package, so the quotation is the reference for Smart C.
2–4 kg, depending on the arm's posture: the load capacity falls as the arm extends. End-clamp accuracy is ±0.1 mm and peak shoulder torque is 60 N·m.
The arm ends are designed to be fitted quickly with different actuators. If you plan to change between a gripper and a dexterous hand, tell us which ones, and compatibility with your unit is confirmed with the quotation.
No. It is the fixed-base R1-A7 with no chassis. The wheeled version of the same arms is the R1-A7-D.
It is sourced new through established distribution channels, ships worldwide and carries Unitree's 12-month manufacturer warranty, with technical support coordinated through Unitree's own service network. On-site installation is not included.
