Description
The Booster K1 Education is the K1 edition built around an NVIDIA Jetson Orin NX 8GB: 117 TOPS of on-board AI computing on a 6-core Cortex-A78AE CPU at 2 GHz, with 8 GB of memory and 512 GB of storage, in Booster's compact humanoid of about 95 cm and 19.5 kg with 22 degrees of freedom.
Its 5 Ah battery charges inside the robot in up to 2 hours, can charge while in use and gives about 1 hour 10 minutes of walking at 1.1 m/s, against about 20 minutes on the Geek Edition. The stereo depth camera runs at 30 fps by default and can be switched to 60 fps. The robot walks in every direction at up to 2 m/s, turns at up to 1.5 rad/s, recovers its balance after a push and gets back up after a fall; its arms end without hands or grippers.
For classrooms, robotics clubs and competition teams, the K1 Education starts with six built-in Agents (Booster, Soccer, Hi Chat, Teach, Dance and Lion Dance) and the Booster App, and the same robot is then programmed in Python or C++ as the course goes deeper, with ROS 2 Humble on board, URDF and MJCF models, Isaac Lab, MuJoCo and Webots for simulation and Booster's open-source RoboCup demo for 5 vs 5 soccer. It ships in a wheeled hard transport case with its battery, the charger, the remote controller, a folding stool and a package list.
The K1 Geek Edition is the entry edition, with a 48 TOPS (dense) ARM processor and a 2 Ah battery. The K1 Professional keeps the Education's battery and case and steps up to a Jetson AGX Orin 32GB with 200 TOPS and 32 GB of memory.

The K1 Education has an NVIDIA Jetson Orin NX 8GB with 117 TOPS and 512 GB of storage; the K1 Geek Edition a 48 TOPS (dense) ARM processor with 128 GB. Both have 8 GB of memory. The Education's 5 Ah battery charges in the robot and gives about 1 h 10 min of walking, against the Geek's 2 Ah battery with its own charger and about 20 minutes; its camera can be set to 60 fps; and it ships in a wheeled hard case rather than a retail box. Body, sensors, Agents and SDKs are the same.
They share the body, the 5 Ah battery, the 30 or 60 fps camera, the SDKs and the hard case. The K1 Professional steps up the computer: a Jetson AGX Orin 32GB with 200 TOPS, an 8-core Cortex-A78AE at 2.2 GHz and 32 GB of memory, against the Education's Jetson Orin NX 8GB with 117 TOPS, a 6-core CPU at 2 GHz and 8 GB.
Classes can start without code: the six built-in Agents run from the Booster App or the controller, the Teach Agent learns a motion when you guide the robot's limbs by hand and plays it back, and Hi Chat holds real-time conversations, with an internet connection, in personas made in Booster's HICHAT HUB console without code. As the course goes deeper, students program the same robot with the Python or C++ SDK and ROS 2 Humble, train in Isaac Lab and check policies in MuJoCo or Webots; the Soccer Agent and the RoboCup demo prepare teams for robot soccer.
The K1 robot and its battery, the charger, the remote controller, a folding stool and a package list, in a wheeled hard transport case with a security seal and a combination lock. The K1 Geek Edition ships in Booster's printed retail box instead. The full packing list of your edition is confirmed with your quotation.
About 1 hour 10 minutes of walking at 1.1 m/s on its 5 Ah battery. The battery charges inside the robot in up to 2 hours, the robot can charge while in use, and the battery lasts at least 500 charge cycles.
The K1 Education ships with Booster's manufacturer warranty. It is sourced new through established distribution channels and ships worldwide, and technical support is coordinated with the manufacturer's service network. Booster's online documentation centre holds the K1 product manual, the developer guide and the release notes, with video lessons from unboxing to packing.
